Expenses & receipts
Receipts, without the shoebox.
Snap a receipt, forward an email, send a WhatsApp or drop a PDF. Netto reads it, books it with the right category and VAT, and keeps it for seven years.
Read in seconds
The supplier, the date, the amounts and the VAT per rate, read from the receipt or invoice. You check, you don’t type.
Mixed receipts, split
A receipt with 9% and 21% on it is split into a line per rate. A private line stays on the receipt, so the total still matches what you paid, but it doesn’t count as a cost.
Foreign suppliers, handled
Google, Adobe or AWS invoice you without Dutch VAT. Netto puts the VAT on your return and reclaims it in the same return, so it costs you nothing.
Paperless, for seven years
Throw the paper away. Netto keeps every receipt for the seven years the Belastingdienst asks for, and reminds you of the ones still missing.

Guides and free tools
Questions, answered.
Can I really throw away paper receipts?+
Yes, once they’re stored in Netto. The Belastingdienst accepts a digital copy as long as it is complete and readable, and Netto keeps it for the seven years you have to.
How do I send receipts by email?+
You get your own Netto email address. Forward a receipt or invoice to it, or have a supplier send its invoices there.
What if I’ve lost a receipt?+
You can say so on the expense. The cost stays in your books, but the VAT on it is not reclaimed, because VAT can only be reclaimed with an invoice.
Can I reclaim the VAT on a business lunch?+
No. VAT on food and drink in cafés and restaurants cannot be reclaimed, so Netto books the full amount as a cost.
