Let clients pay online

Every invoice has a pay page. Connect Mollie and your clients can also pay with iDEAL or a card, and the invoice is marked paid by itself.

The pay page

Every invoice you send has a link to its own pay page, in the email and as a QR code on the PDF. Your client sees the amount, the due date and your bank details with the payment reference, ready to copy. Many banking apps can scan the QR code and fill in the transfer for them.

You can find the link yourself on the invoice with Copy pay link, for example to send it in a chat.

Online payment with Mollie

Mollie is a Dutch payment company. When you connect your own Mollie account, the pay page also gets a Pay button: your client pays straight away with iDEAL, a card or another method you switched on in Mollie.

  1. Go to Settings → Invoices → Online payments and press Connect Mollie.
  2. Sign in to Mollie, or create an account there, and allow Netto to create payments.
  3. Back in Netto, you see whether Mollie still needs something from you (such as your bank account or ID) and which payment methods your clients can use.

Mollie charges its own fee per payment; Netto adds nothing on top. The contract for this is between you and Mollie.

When a client pays online

The invoice is marked paid on the day your client paid. You don't have to do anything.

Mollie doesn't send each payment to your bank separately. It collects them and pays them out together, minus its fees. Until then, Netto keeps the money as "in transit": already yours, but not in your bank yet.

When the payout shows up in your bank lines, Netto offers it as Payout of online payments. Press Book as payout. The fees Mollie kept are booked as a cost. This is not new income: the invoices were already marked paid.

Stop online payments

Press Disconnect Mollie under Settings → Invoices → Online payments. New pay pages then show only your bank details again.
